如何申请 to Upper Division

Parents are encouraged to schedule a campus visit to discuss the admissions process. Schedule a tour with the 招生 Office by calling (813) 885-1673 or emailing admissions@38dvd.net. 

• Complete the 2025-2026 application (available online 9月1日).

• Upload the applicant’s birth certificate 和 optional photograph.

• Submit the non-refundable $75 application fee.

• Once the application is submitted, you will be contacted by the 招生 Office to coordinate testing dates.

• The application deadline is 2月1日. 招生 applications received after 2月1日 will be considered for our waiting pool.

• 打印、签名并提交 to the appropriate official at your child’s school (ie. registrar or school principal) after 11月15日.

• Completed form 和 records should be mailed or emailed directly to Berkeley.

• 打印、签名并提交 after 11月15日.

• A Teacher Recommendation Form is required from BOTH your child’s current 英语 和 数学 老师. 出于礼貌, please include a stamped envelope addressed to the Berkeley Preparatory School — Upper Division 招生 Office or have the 老师 scan 和 email the recommendation to admissions@38dvd.net. 

• All applicants for ninth grade, 十年级, 十一年级, 和 twelfth grade are required to take the SSAT. The applicant’s family is responsible for individual registration. 请访问 www.ssat.org.

• When registering, please select Berkeley (school code 1600) as a “score recipient.”

Expect Berkeley to confirm receipt of your application 和 schedule an appointment with the 招生 Office for the OLSAT (Otis-Lennon School Ability Test) 和 a writing sample at Berkeley. The applicant’s interview will take place during the Berkeley testing visit.

Berkeley makes all admissions decisions without regard to financial status. Families who have reviewed their financial situation 和 feel that help may be needed in paying tuition should apply for aid.
